The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted each and every one of us in some way. The impact certainly does not exclude those who depend upon the support provided by One Child's Village, such as those at the Karuna Girls College.
Most of our funds come from large fundraisers such as the Cowtown Rodeo. With government restrictions prohibiting large gatherings, we have had to cancel these fundraisers. Because of this, our funds are extremely low in a time when our help is needed the most.
For the Karuna Girls College in Lumbini, Nepal, this impact is undeniable. We have lost 55 students and two staff members. We had to sell the school bus to cover the teacher's salaries. Unfortunately, this was only a temporary fix. The money made from that sacrifice has already run out, and the teachers have not been paid for over two months.
Karuna Girls College is an extremely important project that allows over 320 disadvantaged girls to receive an education in a safe environment. We are doing everything we can to keep the school open, but we need your help.
If you are able to donate, even a small amount, you can make a huge difference.
We thank you for your continued support and generosity.
